❀ Wet N Wild Spring Forward Palettes ❀

Hi Guys!

Spring is here officially, but the weather here in New York hasn't exactly gotten the news yet. Needless to say, I have fully embraced the new spring make up lines and here is one of them that I have been hunting for weeks now. They are the Wet N Wild Spring Forward Palettes!

Keep on reading to find out more about the palettes
If you are an avid follower of Nouveau Cheap's blog, you'll know that Wet N Wild came out with a new set of spring 8-pan palettes. I honestly LOVE Wet N Wild shadows so I knew I had to get it. Its actually a rather funny story, I was on a hunt for it for about 3 weeks and when I finally gave up search, I found it in a random drugstore and I seriously HAD to pick it up. Anyway, ON TO THE PALETTES!

There are two different palettes in the collections, the Going in the Wild and Nude Awakening.  One is obviously the more nude palette, and the other one is the more colorful and "spring forward" colored palette

Going in the Wild

The shadows on this palette are not exactly Wet N Wild's best. The darker colors (the two definer colors) are similar and quite pigmented but it isnt too soft. The browbone colors are not exactly very true to color. They have more of a wash of color. My FAVORITE out of the whole palette is the mint color which is more then enough reason to spend the $5.

Nude Awakening

Unlike the other palette, this is more true to the usual "super pigmented, super awesome" Wet N Wild shadows that we are all used to. The only one that might not be the most amazing quality is the lighter brow bone color. Everything else seems to be on par. Upon further look, this palette looks A LOT like the Urban Decay original Naked palette, which I also have. But, who doesnt love more neutral shadows?

All in all, I would say that I am pretty happy with these palettes. The colored palette, which I actually was looking forward to, was kind of a let down. I would say that I just had high expectations.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE! I LOVE the packaging! I am digging the little floral design

Anyway, please let me know what you guys think of these palettes in the comments below!

till later, with love

  1. How cute! Love the packaging too. I haven't been able to find these anywhere. Now with my broken ankle, I'll never be able to hunt for these.
