OOTD: Romper for Christmas :)

Hey Guys, so this is my OOTD for the last day of school. Since it was the last day, me and my friends decided to dress up a little. seeing as i dress up almost everyday already. I had to bump it up a little. Here im wearing a nice purple sleeveless romper. Since it was way cold, i wore leggings and a gray cardigan. I also wore my knee high boots but i folded them.
The really pretty belt came with the romper :)

As for make up, i wanted my eyes to stand out so NO MATCHY-MATCHY! (meaning no purple or anything that complimented purple.) I had a really nice gold-brown eye and it was very festive. im sorry that i didnt get to show it.

OOTD: Summer, meet Fall :)

So Its fall, and the lack of color is kinda killing me. I know rich royal colors are in this season but i feel like I've gone into a rut with my wardrobe. So i decided to shake things up a bit :)

I took this blue and yellow splatter shirt that i bought during the summer (wore it a lot in summer too) and paired it with this cardigan that i got when me and my friend went shopping (she picked it out lol)

I also wore leggings, just cus it wasnt that cold out plus i pretty much live in them lol.

I also wore these with knee high boots that i just folded over :)
knee high boots that FIT me make me a happy girl :D
I got the boots in DSW on the sale racks. Originally $110, got it for 60 bucks. SCORE!

Top: Papaya
Cardigan: Forever 21
Leggings: Adren B
Boots: Got it in DSW and I have NO idea what brand it is LOL

And OFCOURSE i wore a jacket. are you kidding me? go out in 30˚ weather with just this on? you can forget it LOL

Well i hope you guys like it :)

Wet N Wild Night Elf Palette Review, Swatches + More

Hey guys, so im VERY active on LUUUX and ive been seeing SO many posts about the Wet N Wild Limited Edition palettes. I finally saw them one day and I almost fell to the floor from my excitement!

Here is some makeup porn of the palette ;)

Here are my Pros & Cons:

-Very Pigmented
-Minimal fall out (The only one with the fall out was the matte black with the glitter)
-Most of the colors are dupes of higher end eyeshadows (SCORE!)

-SO fricking hard to find!
-Limited Edition :(

Here are some swatches.

So i LOVE this palette. Once i played around with it, i pretty much fell in love. I would give this palette an A+

Here is my more indepth review on the palette :)

Heres a little preview from a look I did with the palette. I will have a tutorial up soon, I just love this look so much!

Stila's Make An Impression In Moscow Review

So This is my first Stila Travel Collectible palette (unfortunately :/)
Im pretty pleased with most of it but some of the shadows are a little hard to work with. Heres my view on it

The eyeshadows are fine, the one that I didnt have to work with a lot was Chill. Its nice and soft. The others werent as pigmented as i thought they would be. They seem very hardly pressed and i had to build it up a little. Once built up though, they were really pretty shades.

The Convertible lip and cheek cream made me into a believer. I am SO in love with them. Theyre like the NYC blushable creme sticks but a little bit more sticky with kinda indicates that it would stay on a little better. The one that the palette came with was Lily. I think this would work for me as a highlight more than a blush. On my lips, its a really pretty shimmery nude color and i have been crazy over it :)

Over all, I think this palette, I wanted to get the other palettes but they werent available in my Sephora stores anymore *sobs*

The eyeshadows arent the most amazing quality but i have other stila shades that arent like this. So im gonna go ahead and infer that these are a different type of eyeshadow (i guess lol) But the Convertible Color is amazing and i would definitely get the regular sized ones :)

Well thats it for now,

How To: Depotting My UDPP

So I had reached the point where i was not getting any product. it was time to DEPOT. So you start out with your half full (cause im an optimist) Urban Decay Primer Potion and an empty container, preferably glass but plastic will do.

Take a serrated knife and cut the middle of the bottle. The widest part of the bottle (BTW take out the wand first before you go cutting, youre gonna need that for later)

Once you cut it, this is what it should look like.
LOOK AT ALL OF THAT UDPP! Yeah I know, I was shocked too lol

NEXT: Cut the narrowest part of the bottle like this.

Scrape out all of the UDPP goodness inside, you'll be surprised how much there is in the bottle. I suggest scrapping it out with the wand. Thats why you keep the wand.

Put all of the UDPP in your empty container. REMEMBER TO DISINFECT THE CONTAINER FIRST!! I cannot stress this enough. You dont want bacteria growing in your UDPP.

Your end product will be this pot of UDPP (Similar to MAC's Paint Pots but transparent) None of your money will be wasted and dont worry, the consistency wont change or the staying power. trust me :)

till next time :)

Current Obession: Dark Purple Lips (feat. Wet N Wild) & Taylor Swift

So im sorry ive been seriously slacking on my blog, im very active in LUUUX so come and check that out :D

So its fall, and we all know that dark purple lips are a HUGE trend right now. This is a trend i NEVER thought i would get into, but oh look at that, i did :D

This is my current obsession, purple lips. not just dark purple lips, but purple :)

Right now, im TOTALLY loving Wet N Wild's Lipstick - Ravin' Raisin 916D

Here it is in all its glory :D

Heres a swatch. aint it SO pigmented? :)

Here is the lipstick in action. I know some people dont like the dark lip, but it brings me into such a fall mood. I still love my corals but i dont think its right for such a cold weather. Plus i love me my purples :D

I hope you guys try this out. Its a very bold statement lip, but trust me you'll get a lot of compliments :)

Here is my other obsession, Taylor Swift's Song called "The Story Of Us"
Its not just the story of us, its the story of my teenage life lol.
Listen to it, and fall in love :D

FOTD - Mauve Outta Here

Hey guys, So its starting to get REALLY cold here in New York and well my wardrobe is getting darker and more layered by the day. Im used a neutral lip in the summer since i had such colorful outfits, but now my fall outfits are looking very neutral. I felt a little brave sooooo i went with a purple-y, mauve lip color. My eyes are still fairly neutral but its kind of a silvery look. So Here are the products I used.
Oh BTW i used a lot my shadows from the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette. Mine is SO beaten up already but i love it either way :)

-L'Oreal Infallible Foundation - Classic Beige 219
-MAC Soft And Gentle MSF (As a little highlight)
-NYX Blush - Pinky

-Urban Decay Primer Potion
-Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland Palette
•Vorpal (S&M)
•Jabberwocky (Oil Slick)
-Jordana e/s - Creamy Vanilla
-MAC Fluidline - Blacktrack (Lash Line & Water Line)
-Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara

-NYX Lipliner - Dolly Pink
-Wet N Wild Lipstick - 907C Mauve Outta Here
-Urban Decay Lip Junkie - Wallflower

Oh before you say anything, I didnt go out in 50˚ weather in a plain white tank top. This was my shirt before my shirt. I had to wait for T-SHIRT TIME! (Like the jersey shore reference?)

Heres a little peak at my very monochromatic fall wardrobe.
A little tip for you guys. The key to beating the weather here in New York and being stylish at the same time is LAYERING!
So I usually wear these with a cream or black or gray cardigan

Pretty neutral huh? lol

Hope you guys like it :)

E.L.F. Neutral Eye Book Review

I would say that sometimes in make up, im late and im early on things. This is one of the things that I was late on this because my local Target was experiencing some renovations so they didnt have the "Back To School" E.L.F. stuff.

When E.L.F. had their free shipping promo, I knew i HAD to get this.

-Very Pigmented
-Some Colors Are Great For Everyday

-Packaging is flimsy
-Some of the pans arent in there well

So Obviously they are all very pigmented.

So if you guys can still see this around your local Target, feel free to pick it up. if not then your not exaztly missing out on alot

Urban Decay Loves New York Swatches and Review

So as you know (or not) I attended the Urban Decay Loves New York City Pre-launch. just scroll down to check out my post about it. Anyway, I was able to get my hands on it before the majority of the make up community could. Well during the day of the online sale of this coveted palette, it sold out before you could say "Urban Decay" Safe to say that once this palette hits the UD stands, it would be gone within minutes. Its gonna take a while for it to come so heres my review on it for your viewing pleasure.

Here's the beautiful pop-up of the palette.

The inside...

Here are some of my thoughts on it.

-Highly Pigmented
-Awesome and Abstract Design
-Not Overly Shimmery (kind of use able for everyday)
-You get more for your money
-7 new exclusive shades just for the palette

-Very Bulky
-Kind of expensive
-Limited Edition (Once its gone, its GONE)

So as promised like a while ago, here are some swatches.

•Perversion: Simple Matte Black. Its not the most pigmented matte black, its more like a steel gray matte color.

•Uzi: Im sticking to my old description of this color. Its pretty much a crystallized white. Its pretty much mostly glitter. Youre not getting alot of color payoff but its great for a little glitter here and there.

•Loaded: This was one of my favorite colors (until i saw "Money") Its pretty much a dark, rich emerald green. It has a forrest green undertone and has the most beautiful emerald shimmer. I cant say enough about this color.

•Kush: Its a nice lime green color. Its alot more cool than it is warm. It would be a great lid color.

•Midnight Cowboy Rides Again: This is one of Urban Decay's best seller. ive seen this in so many palettes. Despite the huge chunks of glitter, its still one of my favorite colors.

•Last Call: This is also another color that in alot of palettes. There's a pretty good reason for that though. Its a nice plum color but it shines like a nice purple-y pink. I thoroughly enjoy it

•Rockstar: This color is pretty similar to "Last Call" but it has more of a blue undertone. Its really gorgeous actually. Its would be a great crease color for a bright purple look, or even a nice purple lid color of a smokey look. It is exclusive to this palette

•Money: THIS IS MY FAVORITE COLOR OF THIS ENTIRE PALETTE! No exaggeration. This color pretty much explains why i LOVE UD, They are so creative for creating this color. So I dont wanna have to write up a whole page about this color (and i could) but this is one of the most gorgeous colors ever. This should be enough reason to buy this palette. If you can see, it has kind of a gold tint to it and yet its a nice kind of rusty blue. Once i swatched this, i immediately thought "Statue of Liberty" Which is why i think they names it wrong but who cares. Any way. I LOVE THIS COLOR. NUFF SAID!
(you already know! im gonna do looks on this)

•Haight: Its a really nice shimmery teal color. This is a sephora exclusive color so you could grab this color when this palette is gone

•Maui Wowie: This is another color with the huge chunks of glitter, but again despite that, I still love using this. I actually use this for an everyday lid color. I just love it. Its kind of an olive color but still pretty neutral

•Smog: Its a bronze-y color. Its also in a lot of palettes but this is the one palette that i have it in. Its a pretty good all over the lid color.

•Bordello: This is a nice lilac color, kinda like MAC's Kitchmas but even better. you can really see the purpe influence in this color which makes it pretty unique

•Radium: This is pretty much a shimmery royal blue color. Again a really nice lid color for some colorful crazy color. It has amazing color payoff too (I actually used this as a crease color with Money)

•Snatch: It looks like a peachy color. but its not so pigmented. its actually kind of sheer. its like Uzi but obviously more peach. It has those glitters too but its not that bad

•Suspect: This is another one of thos palette exclusive colors. I think if this as a "My skin tone, but better" things. I can see this as an all over the lid color. or even an all over wash. I can see myself using this alot

•Psychedelic Sister: So this is a sephora exclusive, again you can get it in a single shadow form once this is palette is gone. Its just a nice rich purple color thats more blue toned.

So all in all, if youre an avid collector of Urban Decay, specially their Book of Shadows then this is a definite item to buy. If you like make up like me, this is also something nice to have. Also if you live in NY or you have some infatuation with NY and that youre just starting out with make up, this is great for that too.

I think im a little bit biased since anything Urban Decay just makes me smile but im seriously in love with this palette (granted im scared to use it cus i KNOW ill get it dirty)

So i hope you guys enjoyed this in some way :)

Go get your hands on this once it comes out!

till the next post
